HP LaserJet II fuser overheating

I had this problem on my HP LJII. I traced it to D155 shorted on the Fixing Heater Saftey PCB , this is in the same casing as the AC Power Assembly where the power cord plugs in. There was some sort of corrosion there.

I replaced it with a IN4148 diode as it is only a signal diode.
