Aerotech LZR2000 Helium-Neon Laser (Gallery)
This is a single frequency stabilized HeNe laser based on the Aerotech
Syncrolase 100, but repackaged along with an optical receiver specifically
for metrology applications.

View 02 - Front closeup view. The laser beam exits the top hole
while the return beam enters the bottom hole. The front ring may be
rotated 45 degrees right to block the beam or 45 degrees left to use
the small "alignment sperture".
