Spindler and Hoyer ZL-150 Axial Zeeman Helium-Neon Laser (Gallery)
The Spindler and Hoyer ZL-150 is an axial Zeeman two-frequency HeNe laser
like those from HP/Agilent, but the output is right and left
circularly polarized rather than horizontally and vertically linearly
polarized and the split frequency is lower. It uses a standard
commercial HeNe laser tube and a different locking technique but should
have similar stability. Much more information on these lasers can be found in
the chapter: Commercial Stabilized HeNe
Lasers of Sam's Laser FAQ.
