Photos of Wavetronics Helium-Neon Lasers

Wavetronics is a South Korean manufacturer of a variety of lasers including clones of the HP/Agilent 5517A/B/C/D two-frequency HeNe laser" for interferometry based measurement and calibration systems. These are all physically and functionally similar to their HP/Agilent counterparts.

• Wavetronics WT307C Helium-Neon Laser (Gallery)

  The Wavetronics WT307C is a physical, electrical, and functional clone of the HP-5517C.

  • View 02 - Front closeup view. Like the shutter wheel on the HP/Agilent lasers, this selects the full beam, a narrow alignment beam, or no beam.

  • View 04 - Back closeup view. The connector is physically and electrically compatible with HP/Agilent interferometers.

  • View 06 - Left side interior view. Most This shows the control PCB, QWP, and beam expander. The small connector with 2 black wires is for the tube heater; the blue wire is the cathode return for the high voltage.

  • View 08 - Right side interior view. The HeNe laser power supply is at the lower middle with the ballast resistor in thick heat-shrink at the lower left. The backplate connector PCB is at the left with the beam sampler, tube assembly, beam expander and QWP visible from left to right.
